Street photographer based in Amsterdam

I enjoy shooting black and white. It strips everything back to its fundamental building blocks of light and dark. I'm interested in people, patterns, emotions, contrasts. All the portraits and people shots on my website are candid shots. They arise in a spontaneous confrontation between the subject and me.

In the street I look for rhythm, mood, chaos or structure, love or loneliness and the energy of everyday encounters.

For me, my photography is connected to neoclassical music. While wandering with my camera I get carried away and inspired by the sounds of the piano.
